The hotel is located at a very strategic location which is in between Nana and Chit Lom. So if you are aiming to shop around touristy area like Terminal 21 at Asok, Central World, Gaysorn Amarin, Big C or Platinum mall at Chit Lom, you can easily access from Ploen Chit station that is less than 10 mins walk from the hotel. From Chit Lom you can actually walk to Siam station too. If you are a traveller like me who does not like crowded hotel and congested area, this would be an ideal place. Central Embassy is just right across the hotel and there are many well known restaurants like Kub Kao Kub Pla, Thong Smith, Nara Thai which you can probably skip the long queue if you choose to dine at these places in bigger malls. It is also quite near to Bumrungrad Hospital which is like less than 10 mins drive (when there is no traffic). All the staff in the hotel are very helpful, kind, friendly, warm, attentive and courteous (from the concierge, receptionist, restaurants to housekeeping). They quickly rectify if there is any issue arise. I did a lot of research prior to booking this hotel and I strongly advise prospect guest to set the right expectation when it comes to 5 star hotel rating. The ratings are based on the facilities the hotel offers to the guest and these baseline are international guidelines. Overall, it is a decent comfortable hotel in the city centre that offers the basic things of a 5 star hotel. It is relatively unfair to compare against other international hotels. Furthermore, this is a boutique hotel and they do provide personalised experience to the guest which you probably do not get it often anywhere. Probably many might not be aware that The Porch does offer a very good dinner. We dine-in twice, tried various menu and non of the meal disappoint us at all while being entertained with some folks singing some English and Thai oldies.

Our brief stay at Sivatel was a delightful experience, offering a blend of modern luxury and family-friendly features. The rooms at the hotel are a testament to modern design and thoughtful planning. They are not only spacious but also well-equipped with a plethora of amenities. The contemporary design adds a touch of elegance, making our short stay exceptionally comfortable. Our kids were particularly enamored by the room's features, especially the automatic blinds. This small but futuristic touch became a source of excitement for them. Additionally, the presence of a bathtub added an extra layer of joy, providing a relaxing and enjoyable experience for the whole family. One of the hotel's major strengths is its location. Situated conveniently next to Sukhumvit, the hotel maintains a quiet atmosphere away from the main road's noise. Access to public transport, with the Sky Train just a 5-minute walk away, made exploring Bangkok hassle-free. Small yet Enjoyable Pool-Despite its size, the pool proved to be a good spot for a refreshing dip Sivatel Hotel stands out as a beautiful little gem in the heart of Bangkok. The cleanliness and maintenance reflect a commitment to providing a pleasant stay. If you value modern amenities and a peaceful location in the bustling city, this boutique hotel is worth considering for your next family stay in Bangkok.

This is my second time staying here so I’ll just point out the stuff that wasn’t in my first review: - The cleaning and hygiene here is outstanding. The day after got there I unpacked my suitcase which just had a giant ball of messy clothes in it and threw them on the cupboard, then went out. When I came back housekeeping had been in. The lady who worked there had folded all of my clothes (literally dozens) and placed them on various cupboards. I thought that was amazing. - The receptionists are fantastic and will help with everything. I also saw them carry my 25kg+ suitcases around like they were feather pillows. - Location is really good. There’s Michelin restaurants within walking distance. - Gym is great and far above your typical hotel gym. Smith machine, lat pull down, leg curls/extensions and dumbbells up to 20kg (or was it 25kg?). Perfectly acceptable for a short stay. I did several of my workouts there and only did barbell bench press and ab crunches at one of the gyms nearby. - ATM in the building

Breakfast was amazing. Room service and cleaning was amazing. Room ambiance was perfect. Bathroom was clean, nice and specious. View from hotel room was great. Lobby area was perfect and the kids enjoyed the complementary tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Staff literally helped us choosing the local attractions and provided a good full day taxi deal to visit these attractions. Hotel and Restaurant Staff was very helping and kind. Facilities such as Gym, Sauna and swimming pool were well maintained so whole experience around that area I.e 8th floor was beyond perfect. Literally I don’t have anything negative to say about this hotel and I would like to thank them from bottom of my heart for providing such great hospitality. thank you guys!

The staff were the best thing about my stay. Everyone appears to get along with each other, they were always in smiling conversation with each other when we encountered them. The check-in, breakfast, gym, concierge, and cleaning staff were professional and courteous at every step. In my corner suite, my room was very large, practical, and well-equipped, but the daytime view isn't great because of the huge empty development plot across the road. Breakfast was excellent, catering for a mix between western/Asian tastes. I rated it 8/10, with my Asian partner rating it 6/10.
